The Civilisation Watercolours
HENI is delighted to present The Civilisation Watercolours by Damien Hirst, new original watercolour works on paper that reimagine the thriving urban landscapes from his The Civilisation Paintings series.
The artworks are watercolour works on paper and are presented in white, metal frames with Optium Tru Vue acrylic. The works come in two sizes, 156.1 x 113.6 cm and 119.1 x 93.6 cm (framed). Each work is titled and hand-signed by Damien Hirst on the front.
The Civilisation Watercolours works are available by application until 17:00 GMT on 26 January 2026. The works are on display at HENI Gallery until 25 January 2025. Admission to the gallery is free.

Because The Civilisation Watercolours is an application-based release, HENI tries to ensure allocations are broad and fair (rather than on a ‘first come, first served’ basis) as such each application will be reviewed individually. The Client Liaison team will reach out to successful applicants to finalise the allocation of their artworks.
If you wish to apply for a specific artwork, please select ‘I have a preference’ during the application. You can submit multiple preferred artworks in case your first choice is not available. If none of your choices are available, we may offer you the opportunity to purchase a different artwork. HENI cannot guarantee that you will be offered the opportunity to buy every artwork you apply for.
