Jeffrey Gibson Will Be First Indigenous U.S. Artist at Venice Biennale

Jeffrey Gibson, a multimedia artist who challenges the absence of Native American practices in visual culture, will represent the US at the next edition of the Venice Biennale, the first Indigenous artist to represent the country.
