Sally Mann's portrait of her young daughter, titled Candy Cigarette, sold for a record breaking $266,500 at Phillips de Pury in New York in April 2012. It is the most famous image from the artist's groundbreaking, and controversial, photography book "Immediate Family" (1992).

Works by Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol were among the 61% of lots selling above their low estimate at Bonhams Skinner Prints & Photographs auction on January 14.
