HENI is delighted to release Concordia by Brian Clarke, a limited edition print which reproduces Clarke’s monumental stained glass installation of the same name. First unveiled at Bahrain International Airport in April 2025, Concordia is one of the largest stained glass installations in the world. The Concordia print release celebrates this enormous feat by the world’s foremost artist working in stained glass today.
The editions are Diasec-mounted Giclée prints on aluminium composite panel, each measuring 100 x 200 cm. The edition size is limited to 100 (plus 10 APs) and they are priced at $2,500 (plus applicable taxes). Each print is numbered and hand-signed on the label by the artist.
The artworks are available by application until 17:00 BST on 9 June 2025.
This limited edition print release celebrates Brian Clarke’s remarkable stained glass installation Concordia.
Concordia marks the culmination of Clarke’s decades-long practice to date, incorporating in its design some of the artist’s most celebrated motifs, including poppies, daffodils and oak leaves, while also referencing his long-established interest in Islamic ornamentation – ‘Everything I have ever learned about stained glass is in some way expressed in this window’. Spanning 34 by 17 metres, the project fulfils Clarke’s dream of creating a large-scale, rectangular artwork in a building, which would operate ‘like a view through to another world’.
Across its numerous handcrafted panels, Concordia blends Islamic geometric patterns with symbols of nature through dream-like sequences. Bahrain-inspired elements like jasmine, dragonflies and hawks are interwoven with Western motifs, a design that brings together Eastern and Western nature, culture and history. It is this aspect of the work that gives Concordia (meaning harmony) its name. As Clarke explains, ‘I want to deliver something that makes people feel good... It’s different cultures in concord’.
"Everything I have ever learned about stained glass is in some ways expressed in this window. I am very grateful that I am able to share my enthusiasms about paradise with anyone who sees [it]"
