Six Australian galleries will participate in Art Basel Hong Kong this year, bolstered by strong representation in the fair’s Encounters section. Curated by Alexie Glass-Kantor in her swan song, it will include Betty Muffler's paintings and Pedro Wonaeamirri's tutini poles.
The event was scheduled to be held at the West Kowloon Cultural District from March 26 to 30, coinciding with a string of other signature “Art March” events such as Art Basel and Art Central.
Colombian-Belgian choreographer Annabelle Lopez Ochoa has created this beautiful production that tells the story of Kahlo’s professional triumphs and personal tragedies, made even more visually stunning by her bold paintings and striking self-portraits being incorporated into the ballet.
