David Hockney, Illustrations for Six Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm, Edition D (1969), sold for $37,600, more than the low estimate at Bonhams, London. The complete set of etchings, on hodgkinson handmade wove paper, 45.2 x 31.5cm. The work has not been traded before.
