Iconoclastic art dealer Douglas Chrismas, who this past May was convicted of embezzling more than $260,000 from the bankruptcy estate of Ace Gallery, the Los Angeles gallery he founded in 1986, has been sentenced to twenty-four months in prison, beginning February 17.

From January 26 to February 2, 2025, Brussels will showcase the beating heart of ancient and modern art with the 70th edition of BRAFA, the art fair staged by the Foire des Antiquaires de Belgique Association.
The space seems to have transformed with this show, which opened on 9 January as part of the annual Mumbai Gallery Weekend.
