A MAJOR new exhibition has opened at Ireland’s Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) showcasing some of the key works contained within its permanent collection.
The New Museum, Manhattan’s only museum dedicated exclusively to contemporary art, today announced that its 60,000 sq ft building expansion designed by OMA / Shohei Shigematsu and Rem Koolhaas in collaboration with Cooper Robertson will open in fall 2025.
Dr Carina Popovici, who carried out the study, said at the time: “The results are quite astonishing… Every patch, every single square, came out as fake, with more than 90 per cent probability.” There is even a campaign group founded by Doxiadis, called “In Rubens’ Name,” which is calling for the National Gallery to apologise and “admit an honest mistake”.
