On the Met Roof, Petrit Halilaj Skywrites His Way to Freedom

Petrit Halilaj's Abetare (Spider) is a stainless steel sculpture named after of an illustrated alphabetic primer in Albanian he used as child refugee. The Berlin-based, Kosova-born artist's Met Roof Garden commission opens on April 30.
