Tappeto Volante presents a group show Ice Pops Forever, December 14 until February 01.
Initiated by Marcel Duchamp with his ready-mades, this approach gained momentum in the 1960s, notably with Andy Warhol and his silkscreen prints of Campbell’s soup cans, emblems of a reflection on consumption and reproducibility.
Yvonne Jacquette is now represented by Karma Gallery.
The exhibition is curated by Chief Curator Kitty Scott, Co-curators Daisy Desrosiers and Xue Tan, as well as Curators Long Yitang and Zhang Yingying, both selected from PSA’s Emerging Curators Project.
Adelaide-based multidisciplinary painter and sculptural artist Nicholas Hanisch is interested in the blurring of time, his paintings and sculptures playfully recreating creation narratives while blurring contemporary and historical references.
