On what would have been Andy Warhol’s 96th birthday, the artist's foundation has announced it will sell numerous Warhol works from its collection to help US visual arts organisations fundraise.

Iconoclastic art dealer Douglas Chrismas, who this past May was convicted of embezzling more than $260,000 from the bankruptcy estate of Ace Gallery, the Los Angeles gallery he founded in 1986, has been sentenced to twenty-four months in prison, beginning February 17.
