You won't need to be as rich as tech billionaire Justin Sun to own the latest work by Maurizio Cattelan, but you will need to be good at puzzles and prepared to pound the streets.
The artist is hiding three examples of his latest work, We are the Revolution, in New York, Amsterdam and London and providing clues to help find them.
The first clue, hinting at the location of the New York work, will be published online on September 30 with the others to follow.
Anyone who can not be bothered to hunt down one of the 23cm-high sculptural self-portraits can take their chance to buy one of the 1,000 limited edition copies created with Avant Arte which are being sold for $1,800.
Cattelan - and Sun - made headlines last year when the businessman paid $6.24 million for his 2019 work Comedian, which consists of a banana taped to a wall. Sun later ate the banana in front of journalists at a press conference in Hong Kong.
