1 - London's Southbank Center, home to the Hayward Gallery, has been given Grade II listed status meaning it is protected by law and judged to be "of special architectural or historic interest".

2 - Eimear Walshe, who represented Ireland at the 2024 Venice Biennale, is due in court today over her part in a protest against US military planes using Shannon Airport.
The artist, along with two other defendants, is charged with trespass and “interfering with the operation, management and security of an airport”.

The Ghanaian artist, whose paintings and sculptures are inspired by his work in the scrapyards of Kumasi, had a solo show at the London gallery last year.
4 - Portraits of Mick Jagger, Debbie Harry, Dennis Hopper and Georgia O’Keeffe at Andy Warhol's Factory studio in New York are among 400 stereoscopic slides acquired by the the Smithsonian’s Archives of American Art.
The pictures were taken by Ronnie Cutrone who joined Warhol as an assistant in 1972 and began photographing daily life inside The Factory.
