1 - Amsterdam's Stedelijk Museum says it is looking for "an inspiring sparring partner for staff" to become its new general and artistic director.
The job advert for the role, replacing Rein Wolfs who has been in charge since 2019, says the new director is expected to start work next year.
2 - Philanthropist Judy Schulich has left the board of the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto four months after making headlines when it was reported she criticized Nan Goldin's attitude to Israel while arguing against acquiring one of her works.
Her three-year term on the board expired last week and Ontario’s Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming said she decided not to renew her appointment.
3 - Borough Hall subway station in Brooklyn, New York, is now home to a 110-foot mural by Ruby Onyinyechi Amanze.
The mosaic work, called May Your Road Be Light and Fun, is made up of images taken from some of her drawings over the last 14 years.
4 - Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced the return of 20 cultural objects, valued at more than $100,000, to Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, and New Zealand.
The objects were retrieved during an investigation into convicted smuggler Subhash Kapoor.
