Zhang Daqian, Lotus Pond (1980) sold for $107,200 (HKD831,600), more than the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on May 1.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $84,600, realizing a 44% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2015 for $191,800 at Christie's.

Ink and colour on paper, 48.5 x 100.0cm. The work has been traded once in the past.
