Zhang Daqian Work Returns to Auction

Zhang Daqian, Hibiscus, is due to be sold at Christie's in Hong Kong on April 29, 2026 with an $829,500 (HKD6.5m) to $1.21m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2013 for $1.47m at Christie's. The current low estimate is 60% higher than its previous low estimate of $515,200.

Ink and colour on paper, 110.0 x 42.0cm. The work has not been traded before.
