Yoshitomo Nara, Untitled (2007) sold for $4.26m (CNY30.55m), more than the low estimate at Christie's in Shanghai on November 7.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $2.72m, realizing a 38% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2021 for $6.99m at Christie's.
