Yayoi Kusama Work Sells for $2.84m to Deliver a 17% Annualized Return

Yayoi Kusama, Infinity Nets (1960), sold for $2.84m (GBP2.12m), more than the low estimate at Christie's in London on March 5.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $2.76m, equivalent to an annualized return of 17%. It last sold at auction in 2004 for $80,000 at Sotheby's.
