Xu Beihong, Standing Horse, sold for $32,500 (HKD254,000), more than the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on February 10.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $48,500, realizing a 59% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2016 for $81,000 at Christie's.
