Willem de Kooning, Untitled (1977) sold for $95,200 (GBP69,800), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on June 25.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $11,100, realizing a 10% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2018 for $106,200 at Sotheby's.
