Willem de Kooning Work Returns to Auction

Willem de Kooning, Five Women, is due to be sold at Sotheby's in New York on May 15, 2026 with a $600,000 to $800,000 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2021 for $810,000 at Christie's. The current low estimate is 19% higher than its previous low estimate of $500,000.
