Wifredo Lam Work Sells for $196,800 to Deliver a 9% Annualized Return

Wifredo Lam, Sans titre (1970) sold for $196,800, more than three times the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on November 21.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $105,500, equivalent to an annualized return of 9%. It last sold at auction in 2017 for $91,400 at Bonhams.
