Wayne Thiebaud Work with $1.5m Estimate Returns to Auction

Wayne Thiebaud, Self-Portrait, is due to be sold at Phillips in New York on May 19, 2026 with a $1.5m to $2.5m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2014 for $2.52m at Christie's. The current low estimate is 25% higher than its previous low estimate of $1.2m.
