Wassily Kandinsky Work Sells for $504,000 to Deliver a 7% Annualized Return

Wassily Kandinsky, Ohne Titel (Dessin pour l'almanach "Europa" 1925) (1924) sold for $504,000, more than four times the low estimate at Christie's in New York on May 13.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $437,700, equivalent to an annualized return of 7%. It last sold at auction in 1998 for $66,300 at Christie's.
