Wassily Kandinsky Work Sells for $271,100 to Deliver a 7% Annualized Return

Wassily Kandinsky, Entrückt (1931) sold for $271,100 (GBP210,000), more than twice the low estimate at Bonhams in London on April 2.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $146,100, equivalent to an annualized return of 7%. It last sold at auction in 2014 for $125,000 at Sotheby's.
