Vincent van Gogh Work Sells for $2.84m to Deliver a 6% Annualized Return

Vincent van Gogh, Jardin public à Arles (1888) sold for $2.84m (GBP2.24m), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on March 4.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $1.27m, equivalent to an annualized return of 6%. It last sold at auction in 2015 for $1.57m at Sotheby's.
