Victor Vasarely Work Sells for $166,400 to Deliver a 5% Annualized Return

Victor Vasarely, VEGA-ZETT-VA (1972), sold for $166,400 (EUR140,800), more than twice the low estimate at Sotheby's in Paris on April 17.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $44,200, equivalent to an annualized return of 5%. It last sold at auction in 2020 for $122,200 at Sotheby's.
