Ugo Rondinone has opened three concurrent exhibitions across London, offering a comprehensive view of the artist's current practice. The presentations include 'the song is you' at The Royal Academy of the Arts, 'LIGHT' on Bond Street, and 'MORE LIGHT' at Sadie Coles HQ.
At The Royal Academy of the Arts, 'the song is you' runs from June 16 to August 23, 2026. This exhibition features installations, paintings, flags, and watercolors, engaging with Rondinone's characteristic rainbow and sunrise/sunset themes. Concurrently, 'LIGHT' is presented on Bond Street as a public art installation, on view until August 24, 2026. 'MORE LIGHT' at Sadie Coles HQ, across its London locations at 8 Bury Street, 17 Savile Row, and 62 Kingly Street, is on view from June 9 to August 22, 2026, further extending the artist's exploration of color, light, and visual phenomena.
These exhibitions collectively reinforce Rondinone's sustained engagement with themes prevalent in contemporary art, including installation, painting, and the symbolic use of rainbows and sunrise/sunset imagery. The works touch upon concepts of visibility and poetic expression within diverse public and institutional settings.
