Designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany and Agnes Northrop for a church in Ohio, the sale of the stained glass window beat the auction record of a piece by Tiffany Studios by $10.49m, a 500% rise.
The artist’s previous auction record was set by the same work, selling for $1.99m at Christie's on December 08, 2000.
