Madrid's Banca March Garden hosts the LA-based artist's first exhibition in Spain. The exhibition of monumental works in the garden attached to the Madrid HQ of Banca March is due to open on May 1 and run through October 30.
Known for his work in sculpture, Houseago utilizes materials such as plaster, bronze, aluminum, iron rods, and hemp. His practice frequently engages with themes echoing art history, drawing connections to figures like Rodin and Picasso.
In 2019, Houseago had his first major show in Paris, which was presented by the Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris.
