Tetsuya Noguchi, rocket fuel (2022) sold for $39,700 (JPY6.33m), more than three times the low estimate at SBI Art Auction Co. in Tokyo on March 14.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $8,932, a 29% rise.
