Tamara de Lempicka, La Belle Rafaëla (1927) sold for $10.15m (GBP7.47m), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on June 24.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $9.91m, equivalent to an annualized return of 9%. It last sold at auction in 1985 for $242,000 at Sotheby's.
