The Swiss Pavilion, supported by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, has announced its exhibition for the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. Titled "The Unfinished Business of Living Together", the presentation will run from May 9 to November 22, 2026, within the Giardini della Biennale.
The exhibition will feature works by Gianmaria Andreetta, Luca Beeler, Nina Wakeford, Miriam Laura Leonardi, Lithic Alliance, and Yul Tomatala. These artists will contribute to an exploration of social issues and the complexities of shared existence within the contemporary context.
The curatorial framework for the pavilion examines themes such as coexistence, social change, archival practices, the historical debate surrounding homosexuality, and contemporary media infrastructures. The featured works will primarily encompass video, installation, and photography.
