Suzanne Valadon Work Sells for $179,200 to Deliver a 9% Annualized Return

Suzanne Valadon, Portrait de jeune femme (1922) sold for $179,200 (GBP133,400), more than two and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in London on October 17.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $177,600, equivalent to an annualized return of 9%. It last sold at auction in 1971 for $1,596 at Pierre.
