Sunayani Devi, Untitled (Undated) sold for $37,300 (GBP28,200), more than four and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on September 29. The Watercolour and pencil on paper laid on card work has been traded once in the past.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $15,600, a 72% rise.
