Sterling Ruby Work Sells for $571,500 But Delivers a 32% Negative Return

Sterling Ruby, SP86 (2010) sold for $571,500, more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on May 16.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $272,200, realizing a 32% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2015 for $843,700 at Sotheby's.
