Sotheby's has announced "Haring's House: Works from the Collection of Kermit Oswald," an upcoming auction offering a selection of Keith Haring's works. The sale, featuring pieces from the personal collection of Haring's best friend, Kermit Oswald, is scheduled for May at Sotheby's Breuer building.

The collection comprises a diverse array of mediums, including paintings, sculptures, photography, prints, drawings, wood reliefs, screenprints, works on paper, collages, and ephemera. These pieces provide insight into the artist's prolific output and his personal relationship with Oswald.

The auction draws from a significant private holding, offering collectors and institutions an opportunity to acquire works with direct provenance from one of Haring's closest associates. The collection highlights aspects of Haring's career, encompassing his self-portraits, street art influences, and collaborations.
