Galleries are presenting London debuts by artists including Mexican Surrealist Sofía Bassi at Pippy Houldsworth, which is also showing her work at Frieze London. The paintings include works she made in an Acapulco jail, where she was imprisoned for shooting her son-in-law, which she claimed was a poolside accident.
