Sir Thomas Lawrence, Portrait of Emily, Lady Berkeley, née Lennox (1763-1832), half-length, in a white dress with a blue sash and a grey shawl, sold for $889,000, more than the low estimate at Christie's in New York on February 11.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $477,300, realizing a 34% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2013 for $1.37m at Christie's.
