Sindutomo Sudjojono Work Sells for $45,400 to Deliver a 8% Annualized Return

Sindutomo Sudjojono, An extensive Indonesian landscape with labourers in the fields (Pemandangan) (1971), sold for $45,400 (HKD355,600), more than the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on March 28.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $39,700, equivalent to an annualized return of 8%. It last sold at auction in 2000 for $5,740 at Christie's.

Oil on canvas, 70.0 x 85.5cm. The work has been traded once in the past.
