Shepard Fairey Work Sells for $38,900 But Delivers a 31% Negative Return

Shepard Fairey, Eye Alert (Red) (2010), sold for $38,900 (EUR33,100), more than the low estimate at Artcurial in Paris on April 21.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $18,300, realizing a 31% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2017 for $57,200 at Phillips.

Stencil, spray paint, and collage on canvas, 109.2 x 76.5cm. The work has not been traded before.
