Sarah Sze, Spell (Undated) sold for $988,400 (GBP756,000), more than the low estimate at Christie's in London on October 9. The inkjet prints, acrylic polymers, oil, acrylic, string, tape, ink, nails and printed collage on dibond work has been traded once in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $250,900, a 34% rise.

The previous record was set by Surprise Ending (2020), which sold for $737,500 at Christie's on December 03, 2020. The work had not been traded before.
