Salvador Dali Work Sells for $294,100 to Deliver a 8% Annualized Return

Salvador Dali, Theatrical Set Design for Bacchanale (1939), sold for $294,100 (EUR254,400), more than the low estimate at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris on March 26.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $131,600, equivalent to an annualized return of 8%. It last sold at auction in 2018 for $162,500 at Sotheby's.
