Salvador Dali Work Sells for $152,700 to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Salvador Dali, La Tour de Babel, Génésis 11 (1964), sold for $152,700 (GBP114,300), more than two and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in London on March 6.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $54,300, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 2015 for $98,400 at Christie's.

Gouache, watercolour and sanguine on paper, 47.7 x 35.0cm. The work has been traded once in the past.
