The Saatchi Gallery has announced 'Textile Art Redefined,' an upcoming exhibition dedicated to contemporary fine art textiles. The show is scheduled to run from April 10 to May 10, 2026, at the gallery's Duke of York’s HQ in Chelsea, London. Admission will be free.
The exhibition will feature works by 15 artists recognised for their contributions to the field. Participating artists include Ian Berry, Caroline Burgess, Chiachio & Giannone, Signe Emdal, Kaffe Fassett, Anne von Freyburg, Sara Impey, Deniz Kurdak, Kenny Nguyen, Simone Pheulpin, Benjamin Shine, Jakkai Siributr, Cayce Zavaglia, and Magda Sayeg.
'Textile Art Redefined' aims to explore the breadth of contemporary textile practices, showcasing diverse approaches to embroidery, quilting, weaving, and knitting. The selected works employ a variety of materials, from traditional yarns and silk to denim and tulle, reflecting the evolving scope of textile art within a fine art context.
