Rudolf Stingel Work Sells for $3.25m But Delivers a 49% Negative Return

Rudolf Stingel, Untitled (2009), sold for $3.25m, more than the low estimate at Christie's in New York on May 20.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $3.23m, realizing a 49% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2018 for $6.48m at Sotheby's.
