Rudolf Bonnet, Resting at ganges market (1953), sold for $51,900 (SGD66,000), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in Singapore on January 25.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $18,200, realizing a 25% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2002 for $70,100 at Sotheby's.
