The Royal Academy of Arts has announced its exhibition program for 2026–2027. The lineup, unveiled September 2, includes several presentations.

Among the headline exhibitions is Simone Leigh, marking the artist's first major UK institutional show. The program also features Rembrandt: Radical Printmaker, focusing on the Dutch master's graphic works, and Painting the French Riviera, which will explore artistic interpretations of the region. Modern art is represented with Matisse, Picasso, Klee: Masterpieces from the Museum Berggruen, drawing from the Berlin collection. The annual Summer Exhibition is also confirmed.

Peggy Guggenheim in London: The Making of a Collector focuses on Guggenheim's period in the late 1930s, specifically her London gallery, Guggenheim Jeune. The gallery, active for 18 months from January 1938–June 1939, introduced the European avant-garde to London, featuring artists such as Jean Cocteau, Vasily Kandinsky, Henry Moore, and Alexander Calder. The Royal Academy's announcement also includes the reopening of one of its galleries.
