Richard Pousette-Dart Work Sells for $40,600 to Deliver a 5% Annualized Return

Richard Pousette-Dart, Circle of the Sphere (1978) sold for $40,600, more than the low estimate at Sotheby's, Online on July 15.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $32,100, equivalent to an annualized return of 5%. It last sold at auction in 1998 for $8,500 at Sotheby's.
