Rene Magritte Work with $4.02m Estimate Returns to Auction

Rene Magritte, La Belle promenade, is due to be sold at Sotheby's in London on June 24, 2026 with a $4.02m (GBP3m) to $5.35m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2014 for $3.75m at Christie's. The current low estimate is 237% higher than its previous low estimate of $1.19m.
